I AM and SummerTIME programs help Los Angeles high school students pursue higher education dreams.
- I AM is a one-on-one mentoring program that guides high school seniors through the college and financial aid application processes from September to June each year.
- SummerTIME is an intensive, four-week summer writing and college transition program for college-bound high school students.

For Students
Apply to become an I AM mentee. Get free one-on-one help with your college and financial aid applications! Your mentor will be a graduate student or staff member from USC who will help you get into the colleges you want to go to.
Sign up for SummerTIME. Improve your writing skills and college knowledge with our free four-week program! After SummerTIME, you’ll be better prepared for college life so you can reach your higher education goals.
Get materials and resources. Access an online version of the I AM program binder—and find resources for undocumented students, foster youth or homeless youth.
For Mentors
Become a mentor. Sign up to mentor and advise one or two high school students transitioning from high school to college.
