Jonathan Zaleski was the communications manager for the Pullias Center. His primary responsibility was getting the Pullias Center’s research and recommendations in front of the higher education community in general, and policymakers and practitioners in particular. He led external communications including the website, newsletter, social media profiles, media relations, and press releases.
Zaleski relocated to Los Angeles after earning an undergraduate degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA in Marketing from Northeastern University in Boston. His career began in entertainment public relations working with TV shows, production companies, and networks at high profile PR agencies. He went on to start his own marketing and communications consultancy and has since expanded into education, technology, automotive, and lifestyle industries. He has also taught undergraduate communications courses at CSUN and is currently a doctoral student in the Organization Change and Leadership program at the USC Rossier School of Education.
He conducted research for his doctoral dissertation: Understanding Decision-Making in High School Bystanders to Bullying and graduated from USC in Spring of 2021.
