Raquel M. Rall is an associate professor of higher education in the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Riverside. She conducts research on higher education governance and college access, transition, and preparation programs. Rall has taught courses including Politics, Equity, and Inclusion, the Proseminar in Higher Education, and Diversity.
Rall earned her bachelor’s degrees in human biology and African and African American studies from Stanford University, and her doctorate in urban education policy from USC Rossier School of Education. After attaining her PhD, she served as an assistant research professor in the USC Pullias Center for Higher Education.
Prior to receiving her doctorate, Rall served as the director of the Legacy Roundtable Summer Accelerated Mathematics Academy–a program geared at bridging the achievement gap by focusing on African American males in mathematics.
